Our itinerary starts in the afternoon, so you will have the entire morning of the first day to walk around the streets of the centre. For those who are not keen on walking, you can buy hop on hop off bus tickets and get off at the main stops. Tickets on request and free lunch.
In the early afternoon we will continue with a dive into ancient art and history with a guided tour to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. You will discover the hill where Rome was founded and reach the Colosseum without having to queue. Comfortable shoes recommended. Dinner is free, but here are our suggestions for Roman street food you must try: the famous street suppì, carciofi alla giuda and the trapizzino. Overnight stay on request.
Discover the beauty of Naples and visit Pompeii, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the world, on a full-day excursion from Rome. The first stop is Naples, one of the most fascinating cities in the Mediterranean, world-famous for its rich history, art, culture, and gastronomy, where we will take a short panoramic tour to discover its beauty from the comfort of the bus as we climb the Vomero hill. We will have lunch with real Neapolitan pizza! After lunch, we will enter one of the most important archaeological sites in the world: a UNESCO World Heritage site, the ruins of Pompeii, with privileged skip-the-line entry and a guided tour. At the end of the visit we will return by coach for our return journey to Rome.
Free dinner and overnight stay on request.
Today, accompanied by one of our chefs, you will visit the Campo de Fiori market, where you will buy fresh ingredients to use for the cooking class. From there, you will move to one of our exclusive locations in the heart of the Eternal City: the studio in Trastevere. Here, you will prepare typical types of pasta, such as ravioli or fettuccine. The lesson includes 3 types of pasta, a main course, a dessert and a selection of wines and soft drinks. Vegetarians, people with food intolerances or discerning palates are welcome! Shopping at the market does not take place on Sundays.
