After breakfast early morning we begin Trip to Tusheti. On the way we’ll visit Alaverdi Monastery. Get to 4WD cars and departure for Tusheti. Way we will see Omalo, the largest settlement in Tusheti. Located 200km from Tbilisi. Dartlo is a dream village, on the beautiful alpine slopes of the Caucasus Mountains at an altitude of 1850 m; Many family hotels, cafe with a great location, camping sites, delicious mountain cheese.Dinner and accommodation in a family hotel in Dartlo.
After Breakfast, You can do a lot of hiking and walking around the Dartlo. You can walk to the village of Kvavlo and Dano. It has beautiful views, wild flowers and livestock .The village is built on the rocky slopes of the mountain.
Overnight stay and dinner in Dartlo
In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit other small villages of Tusheti by horseback or hiking.
Village of Parma and Chesho.
Breakfast. On this day of the trip, we will see the most beautiful villages of Tusheti: Shenako, Diklo and the ruins of the old Diklo village. Departure with a 4x4WD car in the direction of the village of Shenako. Here are beautiful old houses with unique balconies, beautiful church on the mountain. Diklo village is located in the protected areas of Tusheti, 2150 meters above sea level.
After breakfast, return to Kakheti. Wine tasting and return to Tbilisi, through the Gombor pass.
End of tour. Chateau Ikalto for rest and wine degustation. Come back to Tbilisi by Gombor pass. End of the tour.
