Day dedicated to the visit of the most accessible and unavoidable park. Guided tour of the reserve of Analamazaotra: a dense humid forest. Appointment with the local guide to visit Ranomafana National Park, created in 1991, located 65 kilometers northeast of the capital of Fianarantsoa province and covers nearly 41,601 hectares, surrounded by mountain ranges. This park is a paradise for an incredibly varied fauna; it is possible to find 5 species of lemurs, some birds, reptiles, endemic plants. The visit will last 4 hours. After breakfast, road to Ambalavao. Visit of the Antemoro paper making workshop and the silk weaving workshop; if your passage falls on a Wednesday or Thursday, possibility to visit the zebu market. A few minutes from Ambalavao, on the road to Isalo, visit the Anja Community Reserve. This site is very attractive by its biodiversity: presence of lemurs like the Lemur catta (ring-tailed lemur), reptiles like chameleons, snakes. Here, we begin to get closer to the territory of the Bara tribe. We enter it by a road which crosses a vast meadow which reminds the movies on the American far west with cowboys and Indians. After breakfast, departure for the visit of the park. The National Park of Isalo is a natural rocky massif with a very particular relief which is not without reminding the great American West. Stroll in this setting dating from the Jurassic, alternating desert landscapes and green canyons. This day will be devoted to the visit of the Isalo National Park. We can take the tour of the natural swimming pool and that of Namaza to access the blue and black pools as well as the nymph cascade for a swimming session. After breakfast, departure for the conquest of the territory of the Vezo tribe. We will cross, at the edge of the RN7, Ilakaka, a small village that has become a city of several thousand inhabitants, including Thai, Chinese, Sri Lankans, Brazilians, all attracted by the sapphire mines which are among the most beautiful in the world. Arrival in Tulear, discovery of the city and Lunch at the restaurant. Then, visit of the Renala reserve in Ifaty. The reserve covers an area of 45 hectares and includes about 1,000 xerophilic plant species that are adapted to the dry climate. Baobab species are also listed including a giant, nicknamed teapot by visitors, measuring about 13 m in circumference, ... In addition to plant species, about sixty endemic species of birds, including the Tolohoranto, Uratelornis chimaera and Naka, Monias benschi live in this beautiful reserve. Also called Domergue Reserve, the reserve is a privileged place for scientists and ornithological observers. Sunset at the edge of the beach. After breakfast, road for our return to Tuléar, then to join the village of Anakao, we embark on a boat. We attend a colorful spectacle of hundreds of multicolored pirogues coming back from fishing.
