This spiritual journey through Uzbekistan is dedicated to the rich religious heritage of the Islamic world. For centuries, the cities of the Silk Road — Tashkent, Bukhara, and Samarkand — have been important centers of Islamic scholarship, Sufi spirituality, and pilgrimage.

During the tour, travelers will visit some of the most revered Islamic sites in Central Asia, including the Khast-Imam Complex, the sacred shrine of Bahauddin Naqshbandi, the mausoleum of Imam Al-Bukhari, and other historic mosques, madrasahs, and mausoleums connected to great scholars and saints.

Following the path of spiritual teachers and pilgrims, this journey offers a meaningful opportunity to deepen one’s understanding of Islamic history and traditions while experiencing the profound spiritual atmosphere of Uzbekistan’s sacred cities.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Tashkent. Upon arrival, guests will complete migration formalities including passport control and baggage claim, which usually takes between 30–60 minutes.

After exiting the terminal, participants will meet the tour staff holding a sign with the company name. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Time for rest after the journey.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby for a sightseeing tour of Tashkent. The day begins with a visit to the Khast-Imam Complex, one of the most important religious centers in Uzbekistan, where the famous Uthman Quran is preserved. Guests will also visit the Center of Islamic Civilization, which reflects the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of the Islamic world and its connection to modern Uzbekistan.

After lunch, continue the tour with a visit to the Minor Mosque, one of the newest and most beautiful mosques in Tashkent, located in the modern part of the city.

Dinner.

Day 3

Early breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to the railway station for departure to Bukhara by train.

Bukhara is one of the oldest cities on the Great Silk Road and is widely known as “Sacred Bukhara.” With more than 140 architectural monuments, the city has long been an important center of Islamic culture, education, and spirituality.

Upon arrival, transfer with the guide to visit the Memorial Complex of Khoja Bahauddin Naqshbandi, one of the most revered Sufi masters of Central Asia. The complex is an important pilgrimage site visited by Muslims from around the world.

Lunch followed by transfer to the hotel and time for rest.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel.

Continue exploring the historic city of Bukhara with a guided walking tour through its ancient center. Visits include the Lyabi-Hauz Complex, Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah, the famous Kalyan Minaret, and the traditional trading domes of Taki Zargaron and Taki Telpak Furushon.

After lunch, continue the excursion with visits to the Ark Fortress, the Bolo-Khauz Mosque, and the Mausoleum of Ismail Samani, one of the most significant historical monuments of Central Asia.

In the evening, enjoy dinner accompanied by a traditional master class of Oshi Sofi preparation.
Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and departure to Samarkand with a stop in Gijduvan city in the Bukhara region.

Visit the Khoja Abdul-Khalik Gijduvani Complex, an important architectural monument connected with the renowned Sufi scholar and spiritual teacher Abdul-Khalik Gijduvani, who was the mentor of Bahauddin Naqshbandi.

Afterwards, visit the national house of a master potter in Gijduvan. The city is well known for its traditional ceramics. Guests will observe the process of ceramic production, including shaping clay on the potter’s wheel, preparing natural colors, decorating, drying, and firing the pottery. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the museum-hall displaying unique ceramic masterpieces from Gijduvan and other regions of Uzbekistan.

Lunch in a national house.

After lunch, continue the journey to Samarkand. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and time for rest.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meeting with the guide and beginning of the city tour in Samarkand, one of the most famous cities of the Silk Road and a historical center of trade, culture, and Islamic architecture.

The tour includes visits to the Mausoleum of Gur-Emir, the magnificent Registan Square with its three historic madrasahs, and the Bibi-Khanym Mosque.

Lunch will be served in Konigil village in a traditional national house. Guests will also visit the Konigil paper workshop to observe the traditional method of paper production.

Continue the excursion with visits to the Ulugbek Observatory, the Mausoleum of St. Daniel, and the Shohi-Zinda necropolis.

Dinner.
Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to Chelak village.

Visit the Imam Al-Bukhari Complex, dedicated to one of the most prominent hadith scholars in the Muslim world. Imam Al-Bukhari was born in Bukhara in 810 and later buried in this region, making the site an important place of pilgrimage for Muslims.

Lunch. After lunch, transfer to the railway station and departure to Tashkent by high-speed train.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and time for rest.

Transfer to the airport for departure from Tashkent.
