Photos & videos on our tours

Applies to every tour and transfer.

The short version

• Our guides sometimes take photos and videos on tour, to show future guests what a day with us looks like.
• You choose, per guest, on your booking page: yes or no. Saying no never affects your tour.
• For guests under 18, the parent or guardian chooses. If nobody chooses, the answer is no.
• You can change your mind at any time. We then stop using your image and remove or blur it within one month.

What we use them for

Our website, our marketing material and our social media channels, as you allowed when you chose “yes”.

If you said no, or never chose

We don’t use footage where you can be recognised. If you appear in the background of a clip we want to use, we blur you first and a second person checks the blur.

How long we keep footage

Raw footage: up to 24 months, then deleted unless it became part of something published. Your choice is kept as long as we hold footage of you, plus 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, hide, blur or delete images of you, or object to their use, under the Curaçao data-protection law and, if you’re in the EU, the GDPR. You can also complain to a supervisory authority.

What we can’t undo

We remove what we posted. We can’t recall copies other people already downloaded or shared.
