If you've booked with us before, you'll notice things look a little different around here — and work a little differently too. We spent the last few months rebuilding curacaofascinatingtours.com from the ground up, and it's finally live.
This wasn't a repaint. The old site ran on borrowed tools and a booking process that put a lot of steps between you and actually getting on a tour. The new one is built to do one thing well: get you from “that looks fun” to a confirmed spot with a real guide, without the detour.
What's actually new
- Real-time booking, instant confirmation. Pick a date, pay securely, and get your confirmation immediately — no waiting on an email back from us before you know you're in.
- Your own account. Every direct booking now comes with an account where you can see your upcoming tours, review your confirmation details, and cancel a booking yourself if plans change — no phone tag required.
- Transfers, booked the same way as a tour. Airport and cruise-port pickups are now a real product on the site, not an afterthought you have to email us about separately.
- Better rates for booking direct. When you book here instead of through a marketplace listing, it goes straight to the people who actually run the tour — not through a commission cut.
Why we did this
Every guide on this team grew up on this island. That part was never going to change. What needed to change was everything standing between you and them — a slow site, a booking process that lived mostly in someone's inbox, and no easy way to manage a reservation once you'd made it. This rebuild fixes that end to end.
We're also starting this blog as part of the same effort — real notes from the team, not filler. Expect posts on what's actually worth doing on the island, seasonal notes on our tours, and updates whenever we add something new to the site.
